Leaders in management positions face a major challenge. Organizations need to be flexible in order to change directions rapidly. At the same time, they need to be efficient and thus controllable, which impacts their flexibility.
How is it possible to make organizations both flexible and efficiently systematized? How can leaders provide for effective change efficiently, without destructive conflict? Understanding organizational management in each unique environment is an exercise in managing complexity. These are challenges that all leaders of change need to address.
The Adizes Graduate School provides a wide overview of the dynamics of change, whether this change applies to an individual, a group, an organization or society. The program aims to look at commonalities occurring on the micro, mezzo or macro level.
The school is geared towards the needs of mid-career individuals with an interest in lifelong learning. As such, it provides maximum flexibility. One of the unique aspects of the school is the in-depth interaction of the participants, who come from different countries, contributing perspectives from varied academic backgrounds and occupational specialities. The school is designed to stimulate new ways of thinking and to encourage the search for common principles across disciplines, experiences and cultures.
